FAQ / Rules

Where do the in-person lessons take place?

I usually meet students in professional studios in the Ginza or Shibuya area. Students can also book me to come to any studio in the greater Tokyo metropolitan area. I will take care of all the scheduling for a studio, so that you have the freedom to focus on the guitar in your busy day.

Will the studio fee be charged extra?

No, all incurring studio fees for your guitar lesson will be already included in my rates!

*PLEASE NOTE:

  • When having the lesson in a professional studio, please be aware that it will take a few minutes to set up the cables, amps, note stands, etc. I will do my best to be as efficient as possible with your lesson time.

  • Professional studios also have very strict rescheduling policies, so I will not be able to reschedule a lesson last minute.

Are the costs for online lessons the same as for in person lessons?

Yes, online lessons taken by using the Zoom software are being charged the same amount as lessons taken in real person.

Once i Decide to take lessons, Do I have to pay a registration fee?

No, there is no charge for a registration fee.

What age should my child be for the guitar lesson?

I only teach children starting from the age of 9. I unfortunately do not give lessons under that age.

Is it possible to have the guitar lesson at my home?

Yes, students can book me to come to their home. The student then will have to provide the transportation fee.

Do I need to bring my own guitar?

It is better if you bring your own guitar, but if not, I can provide you with one to use during the class.

What if I miss my guitar lesson or can not make it on time?

I have a 24 hour rescheduling policy. As long as you let me know 24 hours in advance we can reschedule your lesson.
