What I Do
My name is Anri Maruyama and it has been my obsession to help and push people over their desired goal line.
I had the incredible privilege of teaching hundreds of students at this point and making them achieve their goals on the guitar.
Making that initial dream of a student happen and bringing them closer to being able to play their favorite music, has been my passion and expertise.
I've personally worked with countless people over the last years in the Tokyo area and have provided results to all different kinds of students.
From a young child's experience of picking up the guitar for the first time, to successfully prepare students for music college and scholarships, to teach adults advanced jazz guitar improvisation methods. I am here in Tokyo as a guitar instructor to assist you with lifelong learning and help you become the guitarist you desire to be.
My Mission
Whatever your recent stage of playing might be right now, I will challenge you to reach the next level.
Let me prove to you that being able to play your favorite music has actually nothing to do with god given talent, but has only to do with the right tactics and coaching.
Your time is limited and my goal is to provide you with fast, consistent, valuable results and provide you with effective guitar lesson materials that will help you experience the richness of playing the guitar.

My Story
I am originally from Berlin, Germany and hold a jazz guitar degree from an elite music college.
My credentials reach from teaching hobbyists / total beginners to highly advanced people, students whose target is to become professional and anything in between.
